Terms of Use

Effective August 7, 2026 · Avesta Forge LLC

Plain English, numbered so Apple and lawyers can find things. Using this site or the Sectional AI app means you accept these terms.

Who we are

Sectional AI is published by Avesta Forge LLC, registered in Texas, United States. These terms cover this website and the Sectional AI app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

The app and your license

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your download and use of the app are licensed, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms supplement it. Where the two conflict, Apple's EULA governs the App Store relationship and these terms govern the service we operate.

Eligibility and membership

Contract content is delivered only to verified members — pilots covered by the agreements in question, who already hold these documents in their professional capacity. Verification uses your work email and a one-time roster check. Access is personal: don't share your verified session or redistribute delivered content outside the membership. We may suspend delivery to accounts that can't be verified.

Not legal advice

Sectional AI is a research and reference tool. It retrieves and cites governing documents and offers plain-language interpretation — it does not provide legal advice, and it is not a substitute for your union representatives, professional advisors, or the documents themselves. Final authority on contract interpretation rests with the contract, the union, and the applicable federal regulations.

No operational use

The app answers contract questions — pay, scheduling, work rules. It does not answer operational or safety-of-flight questions, and nothing it produces is an instruction to accept or refuse an assignment. Comply with your company's direction in real time and resolve disputes through the processes your agreement provides.

Content and accuracy

We work hard to keep the document library current and citations verbatim, but documents change, and software makes mistakes. Answers may lag amendments or contain errors; figures such as pay values are estimates and are labeled as such. Verify anything that matters against the official source before relying on it.

Ownership

This website, the app, the Sectional AI name and mark are © Avesta Forge LLC. The governing documents belong to their respective parties. Your data — profile, schedule, logbook, notes — remains yours; see the privacy policy for how little of it we can even see.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, bulk-export, or redistribute the delivered document library; don't probe, overload, or interfere with the service; don't misrepresent your eligibility.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time — deleting the app and asking us to remove server-side data (see the privacy policy) ends the relationship. We may suspend or end service for breach of these terms.

As-is

The site and app are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avesta Forge LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the app's answers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim — which, for a free app, is zero.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States. Any dispute belongs in the courts of Texas.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page with a new effective date; material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
